Grand Rapids, MI-Another week, another opportunity for teams to get reps and improve. Despite what the scoreboard showed, players stayed locked in and played hard until the final horn, continuing to build habits on both ends of the floor.
Midwest 26 – All In Sports 42
The game stayed tight through the first half, but midway through the third, Midwest struggled to connect from the field. All In Sports 2031 settled in, picked up its defensive pressure, and turned turnovers into transition buckets to pull away.
West Michigan Premier 70 – Huskies 13
West Michigan Premier continued its dominance this fall. Their physical approach made it tough for the Huskies to find looks offensively, while steady ball movement and consistent shot-making helped extend the margin early.
Next Up 46 – Grit 23
Next Up opened on a 10-0 run and controlled the game from start to finish. Grit battled in stretches, especially in the second quarter, but couldn’t get enough defensive stops to slow the pace.
Work 53 – Boom 46
Work and Boom delivered the matchup of the day. Work handled Boom’s full-court pressure with poise, breaking the press for easy finishes in transition. Boom responded with an 8-0 run early in the second quarter to grab momentum, setting up a back-and-forth battle the rest of the way. In the closing minutes, Work answered with a 7-0 run to close out the game and secure the win.
Performer Notes
Antonio Ford (Work)
Ford put together one of the most complete performances of the session. His length and first step allowed him to consistently put pressure on the rim, finishing through contact and forcing defensive rotations. He played with noticeable edge and competitive maturity, showing improvement since last fall. Defensively, Ford used his wingspan to contain drives and disrupt passing lanes, giving Work two-way stability from start to finish.
Cameron Debruyn (West Michigan Premier)
Cameron continues to look like one of the most polished players in the Fall League. His shooting mechanics are compact and repeatable, clean rotation, balanced base, and confident release. He scored efficiently at all three levels and maintained control of tempo with each touch. Cameron’s blend of poise, shot-making, and effort on both ends has made him a model of consistency for West Michigan Premier.
