Grand Rapids, MI-Day 3 was about consistency. These standouts impressed with their ability to embrace their roles and impact the game on both ends of the floor. Whether they were knocking down shots, making timely reads, defending with energy, or doing the little things that help teams win, each player showed a strong sense of purpose and poise. 

Player Spotlight- Violet Schmidt
Making her Jr. WNBA debut, Violet Schmidt steadily gained confidence throughout camp, peaking with a strong performance on Day 3. She embraced her role and stayed shot-ready, consistently getting her feet set and keeping her hands prepared on reversals and swing passes. As her jumper started to fall, her activity level picked up on both ends. Defensively, she competed with more urgency, and offensively, she brought a steady presence that helped space the floor and keep the ball moving.

Player Spotlight-Joslyn Ivy
In her Jr. WNBA debut, Joslyn Ivy brought a physical presence to the floor that set the tone. She rebounded strong with two hands, carved out space, and capitalized on second-chance opportunities with confident putbacks. Her touch around the rim stood out, showing she could finish through traffic without rushing. Beyond the box score, Joslyn’s impact was felt through her positive voice and natural leadership. In open floor scenarios, he initiated the break and consistently made the right reads, hitting cutters and exploiting mismatches before the defense could recover. Beyond the fundamentals, Jones came through in big moments, including a a game-winner and an 80-foot buzzer beater that capped off one of the most memorable stretches of the day.
