Grand Rapids, MI-Session 2 of the 2025 All-City Fall League was all about momentum runs. Teams had to adjust to physicality and pressure, and once the pace settled, stretches of competitive basketball emerged across the slate.
Game 1: Work 50, Vista 29
Vista trailed by just 11 at halftime and kept it within single digits entering the fourth. But Work turned up the pressure and broke things open with a decisive 19–2 run. The constant defensive pressure led to turnovers and missed shots for Vista, allowing Work to pull away late.
Game 2: Boom 52, All-In Sports 2031 28
Boom wasted no time setting the tone with a blistering 24–0 run to open the game, hitting 12 of their first 15 field goals. All-In eventually found a rhythm and competed better down the stretch, but the early deficit proved too much to overcome.
Game 3: West Michigan Premier 50, Next Up 28
West Michigan Premier controlled the game from the jump, building a big halftime lead with relentless downhill attacks. Next Up responded in the second half and played even (23–21), showing improvement in stretches in the second half.
